Chocolate Cheese Cake

This rich chocolaty cheese cake is easy to make at home without baking and develops an irresistible taste of cheese and chocolate on tongue.

Ingredients:

• 150g (5 oz) digestive biscuits
• 45g (1 1/2 oz) butter
• 110g (4 oz) caster sugar
• 120ml whipping cream
• 150g (5 oz) dark chocolate, melted and cooled
• 2 tablespoons cocoa powder mixed with a little hot water
• 1 (200g) cream cheese

Method:

 

1. Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter and 1 tablespoon of the caster sugar
   Press into an 18cm (7 in) cake tin and refrigerate.
2. Whip cream until soft peak stage. Add cooled melted chocolate, then the cocoa powder mix.
3. Blend well and set aside.
4. Beat the cream cheese and remaining sugar together
5. Fold in cream/chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly.
6. Spread into tin on top of crushed biscuits. Freeze for one hour.
7. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes
8. Serve cool.

Admittedly, when I saw the New York Daily News headline, I thought it had to be a totally fabricated gossip story. But...there is video. Or, rather, there was; the copyright holder has had it pulled from YouTube.
Helgenberger was visiting a French outlet of Europe1, to talk about her show (which is adorably known in France as "Les Experts"). Naturally, the subject of recent recurring guest star/international pop superstar Justin Bieber came up, in the context of a discussion about stuntcasting. And though the question was whether Bieber's performance was any good, Helgenberger saw an opening and took it.
After saying that Bieber was "pretty good," considering that he'd "never acted before," Helgenberger doesn't even wait for a follow-up question before going on to describe Bieber's behavior behind the scenes. "I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat," she declares. "He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft service table." (He attacked a CAKE?! I am serious: That is the work of a sociopath.) Bieber's already responded to his nine-million-plus followers on Twitter, tweeting, "[I]t's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind." Possibly he typed "kind" when he meant "passive-aggressive."

Mona Laizza says Goodbye to TV

After the fame and success of Veena Malik, Meera, Ali Zafar and Rahat Ali Khan in Bollywood, It’s now model-cum-actress Mona Laizza looking forward to venture into Bollywood.

After the silent release of her debut film ‘Kajraare’ with actor Himesh Reshammiya, Mona did felt heartbroken. However, it has not stopped her to flaunt her beauty and charm in India.

While talking about her TV Projects in Pakistan, Mona said, “Currently, I am waiting for my TV projects to complete. Right now two of my dramas are on air from private TV channels, and they will be my last projects for TV. I am going to India in July again for a longer period and will focus on my film career,”

I had some offers from India, but I was looking for the right kind of offer. I didn’t want to work in Bollywood just for the sake of appearance. Interviews Angelina Jolie

There is so much interest in you and your family. How does this affect you?
Angelina Jolie: 'I've made a point to not let it change the way I live my life, other than I carefully plan my holidays or where we go. I think the only time it is hard is when the kids want to go somewhere. I've had so many people offer to take my children to Disneyland or places that I can't take them, and they don't understand how upsetting that is because I can't do that.'
What is Brad like as a father?
Angelina Jolie: 'Brad is a brilliant father. We both love being parents and we love out kids. They are just the joy of our lives. We are constantly in awe and amazed by them.'
How do you manage to juggle being a mother with everything else you do?

 
Angelina Jolie: 'I plan a lot, obsessively. I'm very, very lucky. I love the different elements in my life. I love working abroad, and I love being with my kids and I love being with Brad. This is the life I chose to have and I'd like to add many more children and many more obstacles and many more things in the future.'
How did you feel about being made to look really old in The Good Shepherd?
Angelina Jolie: 'I love to see my face old in different ways. There's something very comforting about seeing yourself as an older woman.'
Do you worry about getting old?
Angelina Jolie: 'Hopefully I will not break apart as Clover does in the movie, because she had these big yellow contacts and yellow teeth. My mom is ageing gracefully, so if I'm anything like my mother I should be okay.'
How hard was it to play a rejected, unloved wife?
Angelina Jolie: '(Laughs) Well, I do have two divorces behind me but I'm still good friends with them, so it's still okay. It's easier to play that kind of stuff when you have a balanced home. If I did have alcoholism in my personal life or that experience, it might have been much more uncomfortable to get 'in there'. I've never had that kind of relationship with a man because I've always married artists; they're a very talkative and expressive bunch.
What attracted you to this role?
Angelina Jolie: 'There were many things about her that were broken, and often I don't get to play that part. I think that's why it took a while for Bob (Robert De Niro) to decide that I should play that part. She is more subservient, she is more vulnerable and she is very broken. But as a woman, as much as there are certain things in my life I do feel strong about, there are pieces of me that are broken too.'
Do you think that self-deception is a necessary evil in a relationship?
Angelina Jolie: 'No, I think quite the opposite is the only thing that works. I don't want to spend my life having to pretend to be somebody else. I don't want the person next to me to have to pretend because we have a long life ahead of us. So you want to just be able to be who you are in every moment, and that's the only way you'll ever be truly happy.'
Has your humanitarian work influenced the roles you want to play?
Angelina Jolie: 'I think it's important to just have fun and not take everything so seriously. I'm not a politician. I am just an actor, and just supposed to entertain and tell stories - I remember that. But certainly when a film project comes along like this one, they're the ones that take priority.'

Bridal queen Vera Wang is all set to launch her latest ‘lovestruck’ fragrance with stunning Leighton Meester posing enchantingly on a windy, chilly November day.

Dolled up in an enchanted magenta couture gown by Vera Wang, Meester stands elegantly on her balcony, taking us back on famous Romeo and Juliet balcony scene, while her Romeo totally ‘lovestruck’ climbs up to her balcony with a bouquet of red roses.

The sensual juice is bottled up inside a transparent bottle with a mesmerizing magenta flower bedecked cap. The scent is concocted by Givaudan’s Stephen Nilsen in collaboration with Doreen Bollhofer, has top notes of pink guava and angelica flower, a heart of tuberose and lotus blossom and a dry down of precious woods and sheer musk.

While talking about the fragrance, Wang said, “I think this is the hardest we’ve ever worked on an overall fragrance concept”.

The Lovestruck is slated to launch on June 5 at Harrods in the U.K. and will be launched in the U.S. in August in about 2,200 department and specialty store doors.

Make Up Your Eyes for Evening

When evening calls for a glamorous look, you want to focus on making your eyes amazing. Here are eight simple steps to making up your eyes for evening.
   1. Prep your eyes with concealer. Concealer can be used to cover up under eye circles or just the bluish discoloration just under your inner eye. To cover dark under eye circles, apply three dots of concealer under each eye. Start at the inner corner where skin tends to be darkest, then under the pupil and the third on the outer edge.
   2. Apply eye base to your lid Eye base is the secret to keeping your shadow in place for hours. Without properly priming your lid first, your eye shadow will likely end up a greasy line in your crease.
   3. Apply shadow. It's great to use a three-toned shadow and build from lids to brow. Allowing them to merge into each other like a rainbow is graceful. Start with a light
color that almost matches your lid. brush the color across the lid and up to your browbone. Follow with a medium color across your lid only. Build on this with a darker color in the crease. Blend the colors well.
   4. Follow with eyeliner Dark eyeshadows work great as eyeliners. Wet a slanted brush, and then dip in a dark eyeshadow. Line eyes as close to the upper lashes as possible from the inner corner to the outer corner. Follow with liner on bottom eyes, but only line from the middle of the eye out. Smudge the bottom line with a Q-tip or your finger. You don't want a prominent line. For a smokey eye, use a brush to pat in a dark eyeshadow along the upper lid and below the lid. You don't want a stark line, instead you want to blend it so it's 'smudge-y.'
   5. Brighten your eyes with a highlighter. This step involves only the inside part of the eye. With a gold or pink highlighter (white is too bright), draw a v-shaped shape that follows the inner corner of your eye from top to bottom. Blend with your fingers. This will help make eyes 'pop.'
   6. Highlight your brow Take the same highlighter and dab it on your browbone, concentrating on your mid-brow outward. Blend with your finger.
   7. Curl lashes An eyelash curler will make even long lashes look more gorgeous. For added effect, you can heat the curler under a blowdryer for a couple seconds. Test curler before applying to lashes because you could burn yourself.
   8. Apply mascara Place the wand of your mascara brush at the bottom of lashes and wiggle back and forth. Follow with another few sweeps of the wand. Apply to bottom lashes as well.

This healthy fresh tea time cucumber sandwich will give you a complete dose of vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and calcium, all packed in one!

Ingredients:

• Cream Cheese
• Chicken (boiled and shredded)
• Salt
• Black pepper
• Garlic powder
• Olive oil
• Cucumber

Method:

 

1. Sauté boiled and shredded chicken in 1 teaspoon of olive oil and mix it with cream cheese, add garlic powder, salt and black pepper
2. Place the chicken mixture on a soft fresh bread slice and place 6 to 7 fresh cucumber slices and place a bread slice on the top.
